They say that a weed is just a flower in the wrong place. This one is a roadside “weed” and I think it has as much merit as a flower as any I have photographed before. Sometimes you can find beauty in nature right at your feet.
Beautifully soft and delicate shot. I’ve n idea what it is though! Looks like what is known as a ‘Garden Escape’ rather than a true wild flower, but that’s an immaterial observation!
Glad you like it Andy, it’s an individual bloom on a Rose Bay Willow Herb, they grow with tall spikes covered in these things. You see drifts of them along roadside verges and lanes.
