A field barn near Appltreewick. I really like the form, textures and shapes that the dry stone walls give when dividing up the land in North Yorkshire. This was taken in July and I found the very vibrant greens and yellows a little distracting. I had previously tried knocking back the saturation and vibrance but it didn’t really do it for me. So today I have gone back to the image and used LR3 to convert to B &W and removed all the green and yellow colour information. Along with a couple of other tweaks here and there I got this image and I am pleased with the graphic qualities of it.
I’m just glad didn’t bin it after being a bit frustrated with it initially.
Simple graphic shot – thanks
