Waving the colours.

Last week I was in Wharfedale visiting Bolton Abbey. While amongst the splendour of the Abbey, nestled in a river valley alongside the River Wharfe with its famous stepping stones alongside a wooden footbridge I found myself nose down in the dirt. No I didn’t fall over but rather I was taken by a single Dandelion forcing and stretching out of the rocks and waving its little yellow flag in competition with England’s flag of St George atop the Abbey. Sometimes I like to pick out the little details instead of the grand views, they are just as important.
